Be Safe When Grilling

As the Prescott area continues to remain hot and dry, the Prescott Fire Department reminds residents to take safety precautions when using grills.

Fire officials say to never leave a grill unattended, clean grease buildup, keep a fire extinguisher nearby, and always check propane connections before use. Grills should only be used outdoors and placed well away from homes and other structures.

Fire officials say grill safety is essential, not only for preventing fires, but also for preventing injuries.
