Prescott PD Takes Second Look at Event Security in Wake of Charlie Kirk Shooting

It’s been a week since conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was assassinated at an event at Utah Valley University. That’s prompted the Prescott Police Department to take another look at its security procedures for public events, especially those involving political speakers.

One area of focus is rooftops, as Kirk’s shooter and the man who shot President Donald Trump last year used rooftops as their vantage point.
