Officials with Yavapai County announced a series of road projects set to begin Monday. Work will be performed on Main Street and Central Avenue in Mayer, and Stagecoach Trail in Cordes Lakes.
Roadwork in Mayer will include a rubberized chip seal for the entire length of each road, and an asphalt overlay for additional portions. Roadwork in Cordes Lakes includes chip seal work.
Shoulder work and new striping will also be performed on each road. Crews will conduct operations from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday until October 30.
Officials say one lane of traffic will remain open at all times, however motorists should expect delays and follow all traffic control devices.
