In the wake of Charlie Kirk’s assassination, Prescott area state Representative Quang Nguyen wants to see stiffer penalties for those who engage in political violence.
In a post on his Facebook page, Nguyen wrote, “Political violence has no place in America, and next session I will introduce legislation to make sure anyone who commits a political assassination faces the ultimate penalty. An attempted assassination will carry a life sentence without parole, and if the victim is killed, the punishment will be death. Arizona will make it unmistakable: those who choose political violence will face the harshest consequences under the law.”
