Pork Jerky Recall

LSI, Inc. is recalling more than two million pounds of ready-to-eat Korean barbecue pork jerky that may be contaminated with metal. Yavapai County Community Health Services reports the product, sold under the “Golden Island” brand in 14 and 16-ounce pouches, was shipped nationwide to Costco and Sam’s Club stores. U.S. Department of Agriculture officials say pieces of wiry metal, likely from a conveyor belt, were found in the jerky after multiple consumer complaints.

The recalled items have best-by dates ranging from October 2025 through September 2026. No injuries have been reported, but officials urge consumers to not eat the product — either return it or throw it away.
