A Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office vehicle was struck by gunfire over the weekend.
According to the Prescott Valley Police Department, personnel from both agencies responded to reports of shots fired in the 4600 block of Carla Vista Drive just before midnight Saturday. The shooting appeared to occur as a house party was breaking up, and no one was injured.
Over an hour later, as officers and deputies were processing the scene, three more shots were fired apparently in the direction of law enforcement. No one was hit, but a YCSO vehicle did have a single bullet hole.
No suspects have been identified or arrested. The investigation is ongoing.
