Two weeks ago, Prescott graduate Kari Kasun and Chino Valley graduate Kaitlyn Roskopf took the field with the Embry-Riddle women’s soccer team for a Final Four game in the NAIA National Tournament. Now, another local alum will be involved in a national semifinal matchup.
Former Prescott football player Jake Hilton will join the rest of the University of Wisconsin–River Falls football team in a battle with Johns Hopkins University to see who will play for the NCAA Division III National Championship. That game takes place tomorrow on the home field of UW–River Falls.
Hilton was a big reason why the Falcons made it to the Final Four. Last Saturday, he had 126 receiving yards and two touchdowns in UW–River Falls’ 46–21 triumph over Wheaton College in the Elite Eight. For the season, Hilton has 548 receiving yards and six touchdowns.
