When they went to Flagstaff last week, they got blown out by Coconino. Last night, the Prescott boys basketball team made a return trip to that city, this time to face Flagstaff High School, which entered the game with a 9-7 overall record. Both sides gave a good accounting of themselves, but when the Badgers boarded their bus at the end of the game, they did it with a 67-57 victory in their pocket.
Caden Lozen and Chase Stedman both notched 15 points for Prescott. Jack Golleher put up 13 points. Pedro Jimenez and Drew Jolley both garnered eight points.
The Badgers improve to 7-10 overall on the season. After a month’s worth of road games, the Badgers will start a five-game homestand Friday when they take on Lee Williams. Next Tuesday, it’s an intra-county battle with Prescott versus Mingus.
