The Camp Verde Marshal’s Office is investigating a deadly vehicle-pedestrian collision that occurred last Thursday night on Highway 260 near Verde Lakes Drive. The incident happened around 8:15 p.m. Deputies arrived to find a 25-year-old man in the roadway. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety and the Yavapai County Medical Examiner are assisting with the ongoing investigation. Officials say there’s no evidence of impairment by the driver, and no charges have been filed at this time.
