Prescott Dog Park Reopens

The Prescott dog park has reopened after a month-long closure for renovations.
City crews completed a turf replacement project at Willow Creek Dog Park aimed at improving safety, cleanliness, and long-term durability. Upgrades include new artificial turf, rebuilt fencing, fresh landscaping, new concrete pads, and solar lighting. The park’s misting system has also been fully rebuilt, though it remains winterized for now.

The park originally closed December 1st and had been scheduled to reopen January 5th, but the project ran behind schedule.

City recreation officials say the improvements are designed to create a cleaner and safer environment for both dogs and their owners. The renovated park reopened to the public last Friday.
