When he started high school, his focus was on the hardwood. But when he leaves high school, he will be headed to the golf course. Prescott’s Burley Johnson signed with the Benedictine–Mesa men’s golf team.
He tells The News:
Johnson was a team captain for Prescott who shot a 158 at this past season’s state tournament. He is also a member of the school’s student-athlete leadership team.
The Ben-Mesa men’s golf team finished as GSAC runners-up last season.
