“A major win.” That’s what Embry-Riddle Dean of Student Success Jennah Perry said of the hiring of Jannelle Iaquinto as the university’s new athletic director. She takes over for Phil Hess, who retired back in October.
Iaquinto most recently served as associate athletic director at Barry University, an NCAA Division II school in Miami Shores, Florida. During her time there, the university added eight new teams, along with two developmental teams.
Before she became an administrator, Iaquinto was a college softball coach at Barry University, Marist College, Merrimack College, Suffolk University, Emerson College, Lesley University, and Salve Regina University, where she earned conference Coach of the Year honors.
Iaquinto says she is “deeply honored” to be Embry-Riddle’s new athletic director.
