Financial help is available for local students looking to pursue a career as a first responder. Prescott Firefighter’s Charities is now accepting applications for three memorial scholarships.
The Granite Mountain Hotshots Memorial AWIMA Scholarship supports students entering wildland firefighting through the Arizona Wildland and Incident Management Academy.
The Tye Seets Memorial Public Safety Scholarship is designed for students pursuing careers in fire service, law enforcement, or other public safety fields, honoring Seets’ legacy of leadership.
The Mary-Beth Western Memorial Healthcare Scholarship assists those pursuing a career in healthcare, reflecting her lifelong dedication to caring for others.
