BMHS Boys Soccer Derails Flagstaff

They lost to Coconino last week, then got shut out by their arch-rival Prescott on Monday. Down to their final game on the regular season schedule, the Bradshaw Mountain boys soccer team needed a win and some positive vibes going into the postseason. They had to do that against Flagstaff, who at Number 23 in the power point rankings was clinging to a playoff spot. The Bears, however, robbed the Eagles of any home-field advantage Wednesday and got the 3–1 victory.

Alan Flores registered two goals for Bradshaw. Alexis Rojas got the other goal.

The win puts the Bears’ overall record at 7–5 to finish the regular season. At Number 18 in the power point rankings, Bradshaw Mountain will be going to the state tournament. They will have a play-in round game on February 13th. Should the Bears win, they will play in the Sweet Sixteen February 18th.
