The second phase of the Glassford Hill Improvement Project in Prescott Valley begins Tuesday. Crews will install a new effluent water main along the west side of Glassford Hill Road from Bear Path to just south of Tuscany Way.
The initial phase of work will run through Friday, with work hours between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. daily.
Town officials say one lane of traffic in each direction will remain open at all times. Businesses, schools and nearby neighborhoods will continue to have full access during construction. However, motorists should expect delays, construction equipment in the roadway and traffic control devices throughout the corridor. Periodic sidewalk closures may also be necessary.
Drivers are urged to follow posted signage, use caution in the work zone and consider alternate routes when possible.
