With a winter storm moving through our area, you need to be prepared if you have to drive in snowy conditions. Before you go out, remove all snow and ice from your vehicle. It’s also a good idea to have tires with deep treads. Make sure you have a full gas tank, and put together an emergency kit with extra food and water, blankets, and warm clothing.
When on the road, drive slow and cautiously. If weather conditions become too treacherous, your best option is to stay home.
