2025 Golden Plate Winners to be Announced by Yavapai County

Yavapai County is recognizing 245 food establishments with the 2025 Golden Plate Award for their outstanding commitment to food safety.

County officials say the award honors restaurants and other food service operations that have demonstrated exceptional dedication to safe food handling practices throughout the year. To qualify, an establishment must operate the entire 2025 calendar year without a cited priority or priority foundation — also known as critical — food handling violation. Each business must also maintain an approved food safety plan and have a person-in-charge with a current, manager-level food safety certificate.

This year’s honorees are divided into moderate risk and complex risk factor categories, reflecting the diverse range of operations across the county.

The awards will be presented March 4th in Prescott and March 18th in Cottonwood during Board of Supervisors meetings. The public is invited to attend.
