The post-season action ramps up for our local teams this weekend. After being postponed Wednesday due to weather, the Prescott boys basketball team heads up to Flagstaff High School tonight for the 4A Conference state play-in round. The Badgers are the number 19 seed and the Eagles are the number 18 seed. The two squads split their regular season series. Another Prescott team is up in Flagstaff tomorrow as the number 11 seed girls soccer team battles number three Coconino in the Elite Eight of state. During the regular season, the Lady Badgers shut out the Lady Panthers 1-nil.
Also today and tomorrow, Prescott, Bradshaw Mountain, and Chino Valley will be represented at the state wrestling meet in Phoenix. The Embry-Riddle wrestling team is in Salem, Oregon for the Cascade Collegiate Conference championship tournament.
