Local scoreboard from yesterday, the Embry-Riddle men’s basketball team handled Ottawa 69-54. Noah Gifft registered 23 points. The Embry-Riddle women’s basketball team got by Ottawa 66-64. Jordyn Smith collected 15 points. The Embry-Riddle baseball team lost to Keiser 14-0. The Yavapai College softball team got swept by Phoenix College 11-3 and 10-3. Sofia Romero had three RBIs on the day.
It’s a basketball triple-header tomorrow on The Team 1450 AM KNOT. It starts at 9:30 a.m. with Creighton vs. St. John’s. Then at 12:45 p.m., it’s the U-of-A vs. Houston, followed by the Rockets versus the Knicks at 6 p.m.
