Camp Verde Marshal’s Office K9 Units Make 2 Drug Busts

Camp Verde Marshal’s Office K-9 units were busy on February 18, making two separate drug arrests within a few hours.

First, deputies stopped 53-year-old Donna Quinn of Cottonwood, for a traffic violation and found 59 grams of methamphetamine hidden in a bag of pretzels. She was booked for transportation and possession for sale of methamphetamine, plus drug paraphernalia.

Shortly after, during another traffic stop, 36-year-old Ashley Back of Surprise, was found with 3.6 grams of fentanyl powder. She was booked for possession and transportation for sale of fentanyl, plus tampering with evidence.

The Marshal’s Office says deputies and K-9 teams are out in full force to keep Camp Verde streets safe.
