Local scoreboard from the weekend, the The Chino Valley softball team outslugged Odyssey Institute 20-10. Maleah Garcia had an inside-the-park home run and six RBIs. She was also the winning pitcher with six K’s.
The Bradshaw Mountain boys tennis team lost to Paradise Honors 7-2.
It looks like a former Prescott football player has a new home. Receiver Jake Hilton has committed to Villanova. This past season, he recorded 709 receiving yards and seven touchdowns to help Wisconsin-River Falls win the NCAA III National Championship.
