A-DOT crews are out along Highway 89 between Paulden and Ash Fork for a safety improvement project. Centerline rumble strips are being put down. In addition, crews are adding permanent pavement markings and doing a fog seal treatment of the roadway. Because of this work, Highway 89 will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers and a pilot car guiding motorists through the work zone.
Work takes place weekdays from 6 am to 6 pm. The project should be completed by early summer.
