New members are needed for a pair of city boards. The Building Safety Advisory and Appeals Board has two vacancies. The board considers matters pertaining to the building, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing codes of the city. There are also four vacant seats on the Industrial Development Authority Board. Its purpose is to oversee bonds that were issued in the past.
These are volunteer positions. Anyone interested in serving on either board can obtain an application online at Prescott-AZ.gov. You have until May 24 to submit your applications.
