Sports Extra April 16th, 2024; Local Scoreboard, Softball Awards, Basketball Camp

Local scoreboard from yesterday, day one of the Cal Pac Golf Championship tournament, the Embry-Riddle women are in first place and the men are in third place. Individually, Kaetlin Halseth is in first on the women’s side.

In baseball, Bradshaw Mountain got edged out by Flagstaff 3-2. Chino Valley got shutout by Northwest Christian 6-0.

Softball, Bradshaw Mountain tamed Flagstaff 5-3. “Code Red” Kodee Statler had a walk-off grand slam.

Tennis, the Bradshaw Mountain boys lost to Thatcher 8-1.

The Prescott boys volleyball team swept Crimson 3-0.

Big awards for two Embry-Riddle softball players. Autumn Sulusi was named the Cal Pac Player of the Week with five doubles, four RBIs, and three runs scored last week. Vanessa Brink was named Cal Pac Pitcher of the Week with four wins and 44 strikeouts.

The Prescott boys basketball team is putting on a youth camp. It runs May 28th through the 30th at the Mile High Middle School gymnasium and is for those in grades four through six. The cost is $100 per camper and you can register through the Prescott Badger Hoops Instagram page.
