Pavement work is being performed this week on Highway 89 between Congress and Yarnell. As a result, the highway is reduced to one lane with alternating north- and southbound closures. A pilot car will guide motorists through the work zone. The speed limit on that stretch of Highway 89 is reduced to 25 mph.
Work hours are 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. The project should be finished by Friday.
