Their stellar performances in the classroom earned them major recognition. Six Embry-Riddle basketball players were named to the College Sports Communicators All-District Academic Team.
Making it for the men’s squad were Jake Klingler, Dennis Pomazanov, and Christmas Togiai. Klingler had a 3.68 GPA in data science, Pomazanov posted a 3.56 GPA in aerospace engineering, and Togiai had a 4.0 GPA in aeronautical science. All three were also named to the All Cal-Pac Team.
On the women’s side, Susie Reynoso, Mehgan Strickler, and Liz Behan got the nod. Behan notched a 4.0 GPA as an aerospace engineering major. Reynoso and Strickler are both forensic psychology majors. The trio were also selected to the All-Cal Pac Team.
