BMHS Baseball & Softball Drop State Playoff Games

The Bradshaw Mountain baseball team had their work cut out for them in yesterday’s state playoff action. They had to take on the number one ranked team in the tournament, Scottsdale Saguaro. It was a close game after three innings of play, with the Bears down 4-2. But the Sabercats kept tacking on runs while handcuffing Bradshaw’s offense. The result, an 8-2 loss for the Bears.

This does not eliminate the Bears from state. They have another chance to continue on tomorrow when they play up at Flagstaff.

And Flagstaff was where the Bradshaw Mountain softball team was at for the state tournament Monday. It was a back and forth game, but the Lady Eagles scored two in the seventh to get the win and put the kabosh on the Lady Bears season.

Amry Soriano drove in three runs for Bradshaw Mountain. Eliza Legga went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored.
