A big honor for a legendary coach. Former Prescott baseball coach Kent Winslow was inducted into the AIA Coaches Hall of Fame over the weekend. Winslow coached for 33 years at six different schools and won three state championships, including with Prescott in 2002.
A nice award for a former Yavapai College softball player. Emily Dix was named the Conference USA Pitcher of the Week. She tossed a one-hitter on Senior Day this past Sunday in New Mexico State’s 6-0 win over Louisiana Tech.
