A Yavapai County deputy sheriff’s quick response saved the life of a young woman last Friday night at the Prescott Rodeo Grounds.
According to YCSO officials, the off-duty deputy was informed that a woman had fallen unconscious on a bench and was not responsive. The deputy, who was carrying Narcan, administered the drug, and the woman quickly regained consciousness. Paramedics and Prescott police arrived shortly thereafter to further treat the victim.
While the woman has not been identified, she is believed to be a teenager.
