A road improvement project will begin on one stretch of Highway 89 in Prescott next week.
According to Yavapai County officials, crews from Earth Resources Corporation will conduct milling and paving operations between the Yavpe Connector and the Whipple Parkway starting next Monday. New striping will also be applied. The project is expected to be completed by June 13th. Motorists driving through the area may encounter lane restrictions, reduced speeds, and flaggers directing traffic. One lane of traffic will remain open at all times.
Work hours will be from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
