With their third Cal Pac championship in hand, it should come as no surprise that the Embry-Riddle softball team had many of its players on this year’s All-Cal Pac team.
Leading the way was Emma Almadoba, who was named the conference player of the year. She was the Cal Pac batting champion with a .444 average. Kate Delaney won the conference defensive player of the year award, while Nicole Hennessey was named the Cal Pac coach of the year.
Almadoba and Delaney also made the all-Cal Pac first team, along with Diana Miranda-Montano, Autumn Sulusi, Tatum Chestnut, Leah Salas, and Vanessa Brink. Making the all-conference defensive team from the Lady Eagles are Delaney, Maddie Judge, and Montano.
In addition, Brink, Delaney, Montano, Meredith Tutrone, and Sam Holbert were named to the All-Cal Pac academic team. Tutrone was Riddle’s Cal Pac Champion of Character.
