Applications for Minor Home Repairs Funds Now Available

The Prescott Chamber of Commerce Foundation has announced applications for the Minor Home Repair Program (MHRP), designed to improve affordable, safe, and decent housing for residents of Prescott, are now available. This initiative, made possible through federal Community Development Block Grant funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, aims to support income-eligible homeowners with essential repairs and enhancements.

Administered by the Prescott Chamber of Commerce Foundation in collaboration with the city’s Community Development Department, the MHRP provides grants of up to $5,000 per eligible household. These funds can address a range of repairs including accessibility improvements, life safety enhancements, and code violation corrections.

Interested homeowners are urged to apply promptly, as funding is limited and provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications and additional program details can be obtained by contacting the Prescott Chamber of Commerce website at prescott.org.
