He called 911 last Saturday, reporting that his father was threatening him. But it was the caller who got arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend.
According to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, 24-year-old Dusty Nash of Black Canyon City reported that his father made threats against him and that he had a gun to protect himself. When deputies arrived at the home on Squaw Valley Road, they learned that the day before, Nash had allegedly handcuffed his girlfriend to a dog kennel and assaulted her.
Nash was arrested on numerous felony charges. The Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate both incidents.
