Local scoreboard from yesterday, at the NAIA National Track and Field Meet, Embry-Riddle’s Dillon Eisner finished 25th in the men’s 10,000 meter run. Eisner is a graduate of Chino Valley High School.
Uriah Tenette has drawn the interest of a D-1 school. The Prescott boys basketball player received an offer from NAU. Tenette was the 4A Conference Co-Player of the Year.
Alumni update time. Former Yavapai College baseball player Ben Zeigler has put up some decent numbers for the University of Hawaii. He’s batting .231 with 25 RBIs, seven doubles, and 26 runs scored.
