Driver heading into Cottonwood from I-17 on Highway 260 will see road construction for the next month.
ADOT Advises area drivers to plan for daytime and overnight lane restrictions on Highway 260 in Cottonwood from Tuesday, May 28, through Friday, June 28.
Daytime restrictions will be in place weekdays from Tuesday, May 28, to Friday, June 7, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Overnight restrictions will be in place from Sunday evening, June 9, through Friday morning, June 28, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Highway 260 will be intermittently narrowed to one lane in each direction between the junction with SR 89A and Thousand Trails Road. Restrictions will be lifted each day after work hours. The speed limit will be reduced in the work zone.
The restrictions are needed so crews can safely remove and replace the top pavement surface along this section of Highway 260.
