Plenty of local athletes had terrific seasons during the spring, so it’s time to honor them on our KYCA all-area teams. Starting with boys volleyball, Prescott’s top players were Zane Gaul, Maxwell McVickers, Quentin Bell, and Noah Hernandez. Bradshaw Mountain got solid play from Benson Morris, Noah Glodo, Isaiah Tapoo, and Kai Alverez.
For the all-area tennis team, Prescott’s top performers were Cole James, Landon Fetty, Miguel Canales, Carter Thompson, James Wood, and Nick Thompson for the boys, and Somer Huttmann, Laci Tolli, Ciara Coleman, and Eva Torrey for the girls. At Bradshaw Mountain, its key players were A.J. Mraz, Nathan Kleinman, Shaun Stouder, and Kevin Felix for the boys, and Taylor Coyl, Lucy Keyes, and Maggie Grzelak for the girls.
For the all-area golf team, Embry-Riddle’s standout players were Hailey Stevenson, Maisey Alsen, Kaetlin Halseth, Charlotte Griffin, and Libby Axen for the women, and Alex Kam, Jordan Garypie, and Tyler MacPherson for the men.
