The City of Prescott will mark the 11th anniversary of the loss of the Granite Mountain Hotshots. On June 29, a celebration of the Granite Mountain Interagency Hotshot Crew Learning and Tribute Center takes place at 11:30 a.m. at the Pine Ridge Marketplace.
On June 30, there will be a dedication ceremony for the Granite Mountain Hotshots Memorial on the Yavapai County Courthouse Plaza at 3:45 p.m. Following the ceremony at 4:42 p.m., the bells at the courthouse will ring 19 times in honor of the 19 Hotshots who lost their lives in the Yarnell Hill Fire on June 30, 2013.
