A SpaceX rocket launch was visible throughout the Tri-City area Tuesday evening. The company launched 20 Starlink satellites from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. The Falcon 9 rocketship later landed on a drone ship in the Pacific Ocean.
This was SpaceX’s 61st orbital mission of the year. Several Tri-City area residents took photos of the launch and posted them to social media.
