The Prescott Police Department is hosing a six-week citizens academy. It begins September 17th, with classes held every Tuesday from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Presentations will be made by personnel from SWAT, traffic safety, the K9 unit, and more.
To participate, you must complete an application and pass a background check. Applications are available at prescottpolice.org/ca. The citizens academy is on a first-come, first-served basis.
