Tri-City Sports Roundup Top Ten Local Coaches of the Year

Here are the KYCA/Tri-City Sports Roundup Local Coaches of the Year for 2023-24:

#1 – Bobbi Yoder, PHS Badminton (16-2, state runner-up, section coach of the year)

#2 – Todd Carey, CVHS Boys Soccer (15-3-1, state runner-up)

#3 – Travis Stedman, PHS Boys Basketball (23-5 region champs, elite eight of state, region coach of the year)

#4 – Bud Nollett, BMHS Wrestling (section champs 3rd year in a row, 9th place state)

#5 – Jami Johnson, PHS Girls Basketball (17-8 after an 8-18 record previous season, qualified for state play-in round, PHS Coach of the Year)

#6 – Michael Ziminsky, PHS Track & Field (4th place at state)

#7 – Ephraim Bernard, PHS Volleyball (Girls 13-16 & state play-in round after 2-21 in 2022; Boys, led small team to 15-3 record & #7 ranking in conference, region coach of the year)

#8 – Dan Osterloh, PHS Boys Golf (Section VII champs, 5th place at state)

#9 – Nicole Hennessey, ERAU Softball (39-13, 3rd straight Cal Pac championship)

#10 – Michael Trujillo, ERAU Women’s Basketball (19-13, Cal Pac Champs)
