Crews are performing milling operations on various streets throughout Prescott. This is part of the city’s pavement preservation project. Preparation work for paving operations is also underway. The streets being worked on include Merritt Street, Green Lane, Oregon Avenue, Downer Trail, and Estrella Court.
Motorists driving through these areas may encounter temporary lane closures, reduced speeds, rough road conditions, and flaggers directing traffic. Work hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays.
The project should be finished sometime this summer.
