Parts of Yavapai County got drenched Monday. According to the County Flood Control District, Big Bug Mesa received 1.69 inches of rain. Downtown Prescott and Chino Valley both got 1.30 inches. Lynx Lake had 1.14 inches. Prescott Heights received under an inch of rain. Mayer got 0.91 inches. Williamson Valley had 0.79 inches. Prescott Country Club received just under half-an-inch of rain. Watson Lake got 0.16 inches. The Pine Ridge Marketplace had 0.12 inches. Fain Lake and Outer Loop Road both received 0.08 inches, and Prescott Valley, Willow Lake, Thumb Butte, and Cordes Junction all got 0.04 inches of rain.
Another wet day is on tap today for the Prescott area as the National Weather Service is forecasting a 50-percent chance of thunderstorms.
