A Prescott basketball player just received a collegiate offer. Western New Mexico University has expressed interest in Zane Gaul. This past season, Gaul put up 16.4 points per game and 283 rebounds, and was an All-Grand Canyon Region First Team selection.
Another Yavapai College baseball player has found a new home. Quinn Allen has signed with Erskine College, a Division II school in South Carolina whose mascot is “the Flying Fleet.” This past season, Allen batted .261 for the Roughriders.
Boy, did the Yavapai College men’s basketball team get some height. Ryan Vischer has signed with the Roughriders. He’s a seven-foot forward from Phoenix Prep.
The Embry-Riddle softball team is hosting three summer prospect camps. They take place this Saturday, July 21st, and August 3rd from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The link to register is on the ERAUAZ Softball Instagram page.
The Chino Valley football team is hosting a football and cheer youth skills camp. It takes place Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. and is for those in grades second through eighth. You can register the day of the event at 11 a.m. for a cost of $20 for football and $30 for cheer.
