This weekend, the city of Prescott and the Prescott Fire Department will commemorate the 11th anniversary of the Yarnell Hill Fire with tributes to the 19 fallen Granite Mountain Hotshots. Events kick off this Saturday at 11:30 AM at the Granite Mountain Interagency Hotshot Crew Learning and Tribute Center in the Gateway Mall. Fire Chief Holger Durre and Mayor Phil Goode will speak, accompanied by a performance from the Central Arizona Pipe and Drum Corps.

The memorial dedication occurs Sunday at 3:45 P.M. at the Prescott Courthouse Plaza, culminating with the courthouse bells tolling 19 times at 4:42 PM, each ring symbolizing one of the fallen heroes.
