After two straight days of rainouts, Prescott City League softball returned to action Wednesday. In the Men’s “B” Division, The Neighborhood thumped Pitch Perfect 18-5, S-5 Yard and Home vanquished We Have the Runs 16-1, Sunburst Motorsports routed S-5 Yard and Home 20-9, and Fish in a Bucket upended Miracle Workers 20-9.
Co-ed “A/B” Division, A-Z Heat blasted VSO 22-7, Boom Doggies edged out TBD 10-9, and Big Easy zapped The Warriors 13-4.
Co-ed “C” Division, the Sundogs dispatched Servant’s Heart 21-6, and Yavapai Desert Dogs erased Last Minute Squad 22-5.
There will be plenty of softball in Prescott this weekend. The No Limit Fast-Pitch Tournament takes place at various parks around the city today through Sunday.
