Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority Chief Scott Freitag has graduated from a prestigious leadership program. He completed the Senior Executives in State and Local Government program at the Harvard Kennedy School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This three-week course provides senior public officials with the skills and insights needed to develop creative solutions while dealing with complex limitations and increased public scrutiny.
Freitag’s class was made up of 62 people from fire services, law enforcement, and various government agencies from around the U.S., along with a few from other countries. Some of the topics covered included real-time challenges, building effective partnerships, negotiations, and policy implementation.
