F-35s to Fly Over Prescott. Cottonwood on Independence Day

Fireworks won’t be the only things in the sky on Independence Day. People across Arizona will also enjoy a flyover by F-35 jet fighters. Officials with the 56th Fighter Wing at Luke Air Force Base announced their F-35s will soar over several cities across the state.

Their first appearance will be over Tolleson Thursday at 5:50 p.m. After rocketing over several locations throughout the Valley, the jets will make their way north and arrive over the Cottonwood Municipal Airport around 6:45 p.m. before appearing over Prescott’s Watson Lake just before 7 p.m.
