NAZ Wranglers/Bay Area Panthers Preview

A critical game is coming up for the Northern Arizona Wranglers Sunday. They’re in San Jose to face the Bay Area Panthers.

The Wranglers are currently on the outside looking in when it comes to the playoff picture. The Wranglers are 8-5 and in fifth place in the IFL’s Western Conference. The top four teams make the playoffs. The Arizona Rattlers and San Diego Strike Force are tied for third place at 9-5, and the Vegas Knight Hawks are in second with a 9-4 record. Bay Area, meanwhile, are in first place with an 11-2 record.

In their previous meeting back on May eleventh, the defending IFL champs eeked out a 39-36 victory over Northern Arizona. The Panthers are second in the league in defense, allowing 37.2 points per game, while the Wranglers have the fifth best offense in the IFL, scoring 49.7 points per game.
