Prescott PD Cites Man for Theft of Campaign Signs

Prescott Police spent the 4th of July investigating the theft of campaign signs.

The signs in question belonged to Yavapai County Schools Superintendent candidate Steve King, who told The News:

Prescott Police officials say officers identified the suspect as 64-year-old Steven Woods.

Police say Woods initially denied any involvement, but once confronted with video evidence, he admitted to taking down King’s sign and throwing it in the ditch. He was issued a misdemeanor citation.
