Firefighters from several jurisdictions responded to a wildfire near Prescott Tuesday. The fire near Blazing Ore Trail burned two-and-a-half acres before its forward progress was stopped.
Units from the Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority, Prescott Fire Department, Prescott National Forest, and state Department of Forestry and Fire Management responded to the fire. No injuries were reported and crews stayed on scene to make sure no flareups occurred.
